Call Us On

High-quality deep-sky astrophotography normally requires precise coordination of mount, tracking, cabling and software. An integrated smart telescope with a fixed optical and sensor combination reduces this complexity significantly. The goal of the Vespera Pro 2 is a consistent, reproducible workflow from image capture to further processing of the image data.
Fixed optics for predictable results
The apochromatic short-focus refractor is designed for large deep-sky objects. With a 50 mm aperture, 245 mm focal length and an integrated field corrector, the optical system delivers even image quality across the entire field. Lanthanum glass (S-FPL52) is used to reduce chromatic aberrations. The fixed tuning of optics and sensor prevents incorrect combinations of individual components.
Sensor integration instead of camera replacement
The built-in Sony IMX 676 colour sensor works with 12.5 megapixels in a square 1:1 format (3536 × 3536 pixels). This sensor format is particularly suitable for mosaic images and wide nebula regions. The pixel size of 2 µm corresponds to a theoretical image scale of around 1.6 arcseconds per pixel, depending on atmospheric conditions and post-processing. Single exposures can be saved as 16-bit FITS, stacked images as 16-bit TIFF.
Manual control without black-box logic
Exposure time, gain and image framing can be set manually within the system. In addition, calibration frames can be recorded. Image processing is automated, but raw data remains available and can be processed externally. This allows the system to be integrated into existing workflows with software such as PixInsight, Siril, AstroPixelProcessor or Photoshop.
Mosaic imaging over multiple nights
The integrated mosaic mode (CovalENS) allows the field of view to be extended beyond the native field and can reach total resolutions of up to 50 megapixels depending on the project. Multi-night projects can be continued, with framing, stacking progress and settings retained. Optical stray light shields reduce unwanted light and improve contrast, especially under light-polluted conditions. The integrated power supply allows observation and imaging sessions of up to 11 hours.

We have a 14-day return policy, which means you have 14 days after receiving your item to request a return.
To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unused, with packaging in tact. You’ll also need the proof of purchase or order number.
To start a return or to ask any questions about returns you can contact us at sales@hdewcameras.com or call us on 02086695668. Please note that returns will need to be authorised before you send the item to us. In this case the product must be unused and returned with a trackable postal service. Please note neither we or the supplier can cover the costs of returning an unwanted item. If you do want to return it please make contact first.
