The revised 2nd Generation of this portrait classic from Samyang offers numerous improvements in all areas. With the new weight of only 509 g, the lens is one of the lightest 85 mm F1.4 lenses for mirrorless Sony E-mount cameras. Thanks to its light weight and improved auto focus (faster and quieter), the lens is the perfect companion when travelling and also for portrait photos on the go or in the studio.
- Faster, more precise and quieter auto focus
- Custom switch and focus hold button for more flexibility
- Enhanced weather protection for adverse conditions
- Smaller and lighter than the predecessor
- First-class image quality and very clear and beautiful
- The linear stepper motor (STM) delivers the precision required for fast, reliable, quiet auto focus, while taking full advantage of the strengths of Sony E-Mount cameras. This means that the autofocus delivers optimal and sharp image quality - even with moving motifs. Whether photo or video: The quality is right and meets even the highest standards.
- The high-quality 11 lenses (including 1 x ED, 4 x HR) deliver top image quality in all areas. 9 aperture slats ensure a perfect bokeh with harmonious blurring areas. Shoots with very little light are achieved thanks to the high light intensity F1.4 and make the lens the perfect solution for demanding portrait photography.
